PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS / NURSE PRACTITIONERS
Looking for highly motivated and experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join
our expansion of high-end urgent care / occupational health centers located on the Eastern Shore
of Maryland. Enjoy state-of-the-art facilities serving communities that really appreciate your care.
We provide acute care services as well as occupational and workers compensation services to the
local population. Must be skilled in evaluation and management of acute injury or illness.
We see everything from eye injuries, embedded foreign bodies of the eye and skin, to simple and
complex lacerations, sprains, strains with orthopedic evaluation and definitive care. Must have the
ability to wet-read x-rays, splint and cast, and administer joint injections and perform aspirations.
Other necessary skills include interpretation of EKGs, phlebotomy, lab work, IV therapy, and
medication administration. Must be able to interpret normal and abnormal findings and
occasionally make critical evaluations in a fast paced environment. We have on-site x-ray,
laboratory, and pharmacy.
Personable patient skills, empathy and the desire to go the extra mile for our patients a must. PA
and NP certifications required.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT / LPN

Must be able to work independently and handle a fast paced environment providing dedicated
patient care. There is a lot of variety in this position.

- Carry out clinician orders and performs/assists with patient care procedures and
treatments (i.e. injection, IV starts, phlebotomy, ear irrigation, pap setup, casting and
splinting) - Clinical functions include: manages paperwork by preparing and processing clinic forms,
prepares patient exam rooms prior to the visit to ensure that proper equipment and
supplies are set-up for exams, required procedures and/or treatments. - Collection and documentation of patient data and reports findings to PA/NP/MD and assist
in acute wound and fracture care. - May key data into computer to maintain office and patient records
- Perform electrocardiograph (EKG)

- Processing Occupational Health and Worker’s Compensation paperwork

calls - Computer data entry of reports
- Collect payments from patients and assist in billing Accounts Receivables.
- May perform any other clerical duties as deemed necessary by providers
